CIG Uganda programme is funded by UK Aid and implemented by Cardno International Development
The Foreign,Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) leads the UK’s global efforts to end extreme poverty and deliver the Global Goals for Sustainability (SDGs).
In Uganda, the FCDO is focused on strengthening health and education systems, increasing personal health choices, tackling violence against women and girls and providing humanitarian support to refugees.
The FCDO is also helping to unlock opportunities for the UK and other businesses to help Uganda create jobs for its people and become a greater trading partner of the UK in the future.
The UK Government funds the CIG programme with £20m over 5 years to provide highly technical assistance to support planning and unlock investment in urban development, energy, and other infrastructure services.
